LED bulbs are rather expensive but worth the investment since their life cycles are so long. The prices of LED bulbs are coming down rapidly as well. They use even less electricity than CFL and produce a better light in my opinion.

LED bulbs are so desirable that in real estate transactions they being used as a bargaining chip. If the bulbs are already installed in the houses permanent lighting fixtures, potential buyers are requesting that they remain after the sale.
